Abstract
3ds Max gives you the ability to create animations by making transforms and other changes to objects manually and using keyframes to record the changes. Not having to make changes to objects for every single frame of animation certainly makes life as an animator much easier than it used to be in the days when each frame was hand drawn. But 3ds Max contains far more power than we explored in the last chapter. One of the main concepts we covered, keyframing, is arguably the most important feature of computer animation; however, using features known as controllers and constraints in conjunction with your keyframes makes your potential as an animator almost limitless.
