Summary
Despite the minor file size and memory increase associated with the new text enhancements, the introduction of Saffron to Flash Player 8 has been a significant improvement for text rendering within Flash. Not only does it address the issue of small-sized text rendering, features give designers greater control over how text is presented within the Flash Player.
