Abstract
In the previous chapter, we looked at some basic features of JDBC: how to get a connection, how to query and update a database using Statement objects, and how to read the results of a query using a ResultSet object. Once you’ve gained an understanding of these fundamentals, you’ll be able to write simple JDBC programs.
