In this chapter, you learned how to offer network printers in an OES environment. iPrint is the solution to all your printing needs. One of its major benefits is that it’s based on the Internet Printing Protocol, which allows users to access printers from a browser. To configure iPrint, you’ve to add printer drivers to an iPrint Driver Store, create an iPrint Manager, and then configure your printer objects. For easier access to the printers, create a map so that the user can select her printer by just clicking its icon in a map. This installs the required iPrint client utility automatically on the user’s workstation, no matter whether it’s a Linux, Macintosh, or Windows workstation. In the next chapter, you’ll learn how to manage Apache and Tomcat in an OES environment.
