Abstract
There is no single word to describe the myriad ways people organize their sexual activities and gender identities, so the amalgam of letters “LGBTQ” has come to stand for some of the possibilities: lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer—or sometimes “Q” stands for questioning.
