Abstract
A vocation is slightly different from a job or a career. A vocation is a calling. It is a belief, a kind of knowing that you are doing that which virtually no one else but you in the whole of creation could or should be doing right now. Calling work in religion a vocation is no excuse to accept less pay and more work. Beware the spiritualization of such concepts, at the same time that you choose to honor them.
