Abstract
Networking is a trendy way of saying keep your eyes and ears open and reach out to your sisters in the field. It is not some magic solution to getting that dream job or a foolproof way to avoid discrimination. It is a result of the fact that we live and work in communities, despite the many pressures to divide us.
