Abstract
Multi-professional education has been widely advocated as an educational strategy. The perceived potential benefits of this approach include the development of the student’s ability to share knowledge and skills, enhanced personal and professional confidence, the development of respect between professionals and the encouragement of reflective practice (Areskog, 1994; Goble, 1994; Carpenter, 1995; Pirrie et al., 1998).
