  • Reactive control system concepts.

  • Decomposition of controllers: horizontal, hierarchical (chain of responsibility pattern) and phase (state pattern) decompositions.

  • Architectures for fault-tolerance and scheduling.

  • Implementation of controllers as input device/output device coordination contracts.
