Ternary Ge–Se–(B, Ga, Tl) Chalcogenides – Preparation, Properties and Applications

  • Conference paper
Nanostructured Materials for Advanced Technological Applications

Ternary amorphous chalcogenide Ge—Se—(B, Ga, Tl) glasses and thin films, their preparation, properties, and applications, are reviewed, expanding on recently obtained results. The progress obtained is not only connected with a better understanding of their structure, chemical bonding and properties, but also with applications of these glasses and films in optoelectronics as waveguides and optical memories.
