Abstract

This case describes the development of a mixed farm in the mid-north region of South Australia. It is a story of continued expansion through land purchase and the development of an efficient and productive system by adopting appropriate technology. Sheep and poultry production are integrated with a cropping rotation. The farm has a larger than average workforce, mainly due to the poultry enterprise.
