Abstract
Wastewater reuse—risk assessment, decision making, and environmental security—a NATO funded workshop, was conducted in Istanbul, Turkey, from October 12 to 16, 2006. Forty-eight research papers were presented by the participants. To address selected regional problems, three task groups conducted a series of breakout sessions to explore specific needs and formulate recommendations for decision makers. Local situations were scrutinized to improve the environmental security and stability of the region.
