DPSIR and Risk Assessment of Dumped Chemical Warfare Agents in the Baltic Sea

  • Conference paper
Real-Time and Deliberative Decision Making

Abstract

This paper presents screening-level assessment as a conservative model-based scope assessment of potential risks to help guide environmental risk assessment of chemical warfare agents (CWAs) in fish communities. The paper also presents the DPSIR approach to complex environmental issues. The two approaches are applied to a case study involving CWA munitions dumped in the Baltic Sea after the Second World War.
