Hydrogen Technology for Porous Metals (Gasars) Production

  • Conference paper

Abstract

The paper presents a history and broad background of porous gas-eutectic materials (gasars) based on experimental data obtained by the authors as a result of the work conducted in the former USSR, Russia, Ukraine and United States from 1979 to date. Gasar synthesis methods and system designs for laboratory and industrial production of gasars are discussed. New processing technology recently developed in the U.S. that offers potential for low cost manufacturing of power gasar materials is presented.
