The conclusions of the previous two chapters suggest that, by virtue of their digital binary make-up, a valid physical model of neutral atoms, and of matter in general, follows directly from number theory. The number basis of nuclide periodicity is summarized in Figure 8.1. The point of convergence appears to be the same as in Figure 6.1, that shows the variation of proton:neutron ratio with atomic (or mass) number.
