The theory of microlensing is modified for sources producing pulsed, directional light beams in order to analyze the changes in pulse profiles that arise due to time delays and magnification factors occurring as a result of gravitational lensing by other compact objects. The results are applied to the double pulsar PSR J0737-3039 to determine whether or not anomalous enhancements observed during the eclipse of pulsar A by pulsar B have the signature of gravitational lensing. Predictions regarding the eclipse of pulsar B by pulsar A are also provided.
