Abstract

In this Project were developed software components (Java Beans) which have the capability of communication through different communication protocols with hardware elements interconnected to sensors and control devices for monitoring and controlling different physical variables, conforming a hardware-software platform that obeys the virtual instruments design pattern. The implemented communication protocols are RS232, 1-Wire and TCP/IP with all of its annexed technologies like WiFi (Wireless Fidelity) and WiMax
