In behavioral simulation, performance and robustness are often crucial issues. This paper presents approaches to improve both simulation efficiency and convergence for bottom-up generated behavioral models of nonlinear analog circuits. The strategy is based on an automated modeling flow and focuses on reformulation as well as restructuring of the underlying equations with respect to sequential equations. Keywords Behavioral modeling, symbolic analysis, nonlinear analog circuits
