Abstract
Our Sun is the only star which is close enough to observe details on its surface such as sunspots, faculae, prominences, coronal holes, flares etc., which are all summarized as solar activity phenomena. Therefore, the study of the Sun is important for astrophysics in general. Theories about stellar structure and evolution can be studied in detail on the Sun1.
