Abstract

The article summarizes the dynamics of the ecosystems of the zone influenced by the Kapchagai reservoir. It also describes changes in hydrological regime and hydrogeological conditions (depth of underground waters, their mineralization and chemical composition). The article also considers changes in soil (salt content and types of soils) and vegetation cover (in composition, in structure and types of vegetation).
