Abstract

In his paper Eddy Zemach introduces the language game of perception and memory as a separate admission game to our main language game in which we describe the world of objects. He then presents some truths involving perception as a priori, which he explains in terms of rules of our language games; wherefore he argues that the rules of our language game make it impossible for there to be an entity which is awareness, from which he concludes that the analysis of intentional terms should not make them stand for anything.
