Abstract
In this Chapter we discuss the application of software-based self-testing to several embedded processor designs that are publicly available. As in Dther cases of engineering research, one of the most difficult problems in software-based self-testing is the availability of reasonably complex and representative benchmark cases to demonstrate the practical value and applicability of the methodology
