Abstract
A new portable Phased Array System is presented in this contribution. Due to the modern computer technology it allows to generate in a fast way sector scans with extremely high lateral and axial resolution. The sector scan image is a final composition of separate scans with sound beams being focussed to different depths and then scanned by sweeping and linear indexing.
