Abstract

That children do learn and remember from what they see on television is certain, even when they watch alone. This talk with a four-year-old took place in March, 1973. The series we were talking about had ended on 2 February. This example is very like many others.

I saw the gingerbread man story. I’ve got it in my book. The lady wanted a boy. How can it be a man? (C, 4½)
