Abstract

Designing or creating hair shapes or arrangements is called hair styling. This involves good cutting, placing and dressing. A hair style is an expression of form and shape. It is achieved by arranging the hair into suitable, balanced lines which complement the underlying face and head structures. Hair that does not follow this pattern cannot be considered to be well styled.
