Abstract
This chapter on the collective dynamics, sociopolitical participation and ethnic mobilization of immigrant minorities is based on comparative case studies of Moroccan communities in three small and medium-sized cities in Belgium (Liège), the Netherlands (Utrecht) and France (Lille). Three main ideas inform the design and rationale of this research.
