Abstract

Leading novelist Rajendra Yadav (born 1929) edits Hans, the premier Hindi literary journal. His most famous novel, Sara Akash, has never been out of print since first published in 1951, has been made into a movie and has sold over 500,000 copies.2 His novels and short stories have been translated into many Indian and foreign languages.
