Abstract
Organisations are increasingly becoming more diverse in their composition. Examples are the growing number of women entering the labour market and the general aging of the working population. Managing diverse groups is now perceived as an important management skill. This chapter introduces a workshop designed to encourage participants to explore the variety of dimensions along which individuals differ and the ways in which diversity within a workforce can be effectively managed. The workshop is in two stages, as outlined below.
