Abstract

As with almost any endeavour, managerial learning is susceptible to being attempted in an almost infinite number of ways. We can send managers off to the Lakes to build rope bridges over gorges; we can sit them in a darkened lecture theatre and lecture to them; we can give them case studies to dissect and analyse; we can get them to do mind-body exercises on the front lawn; the list is almost endless. It is also growing, as more and more management and organisation development providers try to establish their own Unique Selling Propositions, introducing the all-new wonder management development solution.
