Abstract

The present conference represents one among several initiatives which have been taken in memory of Fausto Vicarelli on the tenth anniversary of his untimely death. Each conference has been intended to stress specific aspects of Fausto’s scientific and human personality, as well as to focus on certain periods of his multiform activities. Besides what has already been recalled by various contributors in the preceeding pages, in my concluding remarks I shall dwell very briefly on three points.
