Abstract

Behaviourism proposes an objective approach to the study of human behaviour and aims to explain, predict and control behaviour by exploring the extent to which environment determines behaviour. This school of thought, or perspective, regards mental processes and the mind as unknown and unknowable (a black box) and considers only observable, measurable phenomena.
