Abstract
To attain economic growth in developing economies, it is strategically important to provide them with appropriate infrastructure. As the installation of this could, at the same time, promote regional disparity within the country, the economic impact of such projects need to be studied carefully in advance. However, it is generally difficult to conduct such studies, particularly in the regional context, since sufficient regional statistics are difficult to obtain for developing countries.
