Exposing and Eradicating Misleading Information

Abstract

It is desirable that information should be ‘objective’, that it gives a balanced picture of the world — that what we see and hear about the world is true. With an increasingly interdependent world the importance of understanding all of that world is growing. This interdependence cannot be built on misunderstanding — it is often no more than misunderstanding that brings conflict. Often, all that is necessary to find tolerance for one’s neighbour is to be able to understand what they are and how they live.
