Abstract
Mothers’ and fathers’ participation in full-time employment gives rise to questions of change and permanence. If the family is no longer supported by the man alone, are gender roles and tasks also altered at both home and work? How are the roles formed in the work-family interface? Can the worker at the workplace also be a mother or a father? Are there any differences between female or male dominated workplaces and fields?
