The following interview was conducted on Friday 21 July 1995, between Jacques Derrida, Ruth Robbins and Julian Wolfreys, following Geoffrey Bennington’s Keynote Address — included in this volume as Chapter 1 — at the ‘Applied Derrida’ International Symposium, 19–23 July 1995, hosted by the Faculty of Humanities, University of Luton.
