Abstract

The principal objectives of this chapter are to identify and analyse the various sectorial substitutions and their consequences that are taking place between agriculture and industry in the Malaysian promotion of industrialisation. Within the industrial sector we will focus on manufacturing. The chapter falls into three parts to realise this objective.
