Abstract
Quite a few words and phrases in this unit should sound familiar to you, especially the numbers and figures. It’s worth going back to Units 2 and 3 if you’re not too sure about them. As far as times, dates, and the seasons are concerned, many words are quite similar to the English and should be relatively easy to remember. Try to incorporate the German phrases in your daily life by practising them as much as you can: look at your watch and tell yourself the time in German, have a go at saying today’s date or the date of your birthday, or your friends’ birthdays.
