Abstract
If global women’s movements have been present in world affairs, what effect they had on the League of Nations and the United Nations and why? This question focuses the research of the past chapters and provides a framework within which we can draw some conclusions about the presence of global women’s movements and their relations with international organizations. In general women have been organized throughout the period of time discussed, but in spite of their many activities little change has occurred within international organizations. Part of these conclusions will try to explain the different forces that have led to the minimal change in gender relations at the international level and in women’s lives throughout the world.
