  • Chapter
Modern Economics

Abstract

In order to achieve a low level of unemployment, Britain has risked inflation as being a far lesser evil. Experience of the disadvantages of rising prices, however, has led to more emphasis being put on a stable price level and growth, at the cost of more unemployment.
