Abstract

With the vast technological advancement in the field of aviation safety, a remarkable degree of safety and regularity has been achieved. However during the past three decades a different type of threat has prevailed. Civil-ian aircraft have been hijacked and bombed in flight. Airline facilities, including airline offices and terminals, have suffered from indiscriminate armed attacks.
