Abstract

In this final chapter, we provide a general account of the discussion and highlights of the workshop. Some of the major issues covered are organised under four broad themes:

  • the need for better poverty indicators;

  • priority guidelines for the development of poverty indicators;

  • sustainable systems for poverty monitoring;

  • international action for anti-poverty measurement.
