Abstract
Does the intense mass-media focus on neo-Nazism, racist groups and racist violence serve to calm down these tendencies, or reinforce them? Presented in such a form, the question is far too general to be answered.
This study is part of a research project on political violence and terrorism in Scandinavia, financed by the Norwegian Research Council for Applied Social Research (NORAS).
