Abstract

Andrew Holleran studied history and literature at Harvard University. He then began to study law, but abandoned this in order to be a writer. He attended the University of Iowa Writers’ Workshop, did a tour in the Army, and now works and lives in New York City. Dancer from the Dance (1978) was his first novel, followed by Nights in Aruba (1983).
