Abstract

The term ‘leadership’ now is part and parcel of lay vocabulary. Further, its credentials for inclusion in the category of fundamental concepts in organizational behaviour are beyond question. Leadership is to organizational behaviour what attitude was to social psychology some six years ago (Allport, 1935).
