So far in this book we have been looking at how caring and support is identified as ‘women’s work’, and how management tends to be identified with men. We noted how women have different ideas from men about what constitutes good management, and do not identify with the way in which it is usually practised. When they become managers, women often have different priorities from men colleagues.
