Abstract

‘When children are assessed for mobility, they try to do all they can, when what they should be showing is how little they can do, like in a court for damages. You have to go and get nappies for your adolescent child. There’s nowhere to park. You have to sign the form each time. A new assessment is made every time you need a new size. Our children are never the problem. It’s the services. Whatever you need, however small, you know you’ve got a battle on.’
