Abstract
In this chapter we discuss computer education from the point of view of principals of schools in developing countries. The principals’ role in computer innovation can easily be overlooked: it is tempting to see policy decisions passing from central government to practising teachers, mediated only by project teams and curriculum advisors. In fact, support that principals offer, and support they receive, can be crucial to successful implementation of computer education policy.
