Abstract
The supervisor’s job is to get the job done by effectively organising and controlling the work of the section. Chapter 4 expands on this aspect of supervisory work in detail and refers to techniques which can help. This chapter outlines the most useful of these techniques and gives opportunities for practice and guidance on the possible application to your own work.
