Abstract
Management is getting things done through people. The efforts and results you get from your staff will vary, often as a result of how they are treated. In this chapter we will be examining the elements that come together to make an individual, the way individuals behave in groups and the problems of dealing with groups. We will look at leadership, examine different styles of leadership and, eventually, the integration of people and the supervisory function.
