Part of the book series: Library of Philosophy and Religion

Abstract

The unifying concept of this book has been that of God-relationship — or Dharmakaya-relationship or Brahman-relationship. Depending on our religious tradition we may name God-relationships one way or another, for, if God has many names, so too relationships to what Christians and Jews and others call ‘God’ will have many names. Again, if — contrary to the intuitions of many in many traditions — Divine Reality is not One and there are different Divine Realities differently named, some theistic in nature, some not, then for this reason there will be different relationships to Divine Reality differently named. In either case there will be God-relationships with and without God.
